No show cars please. Projects, parts, or parts cars. Nothing too rusty for me. I've pulled car in half that I can still use parts off of. You'd be suprised what I pay money for. My friends and neighbors are! Thanks, Steve 765 358 3103 Muncie Indiana. Home of the 4SPD.

Use the "start new topic" link instead of "post a poll" link.

I know where there is a '64 Bonneville 2dr. Rusty, probably get it for a little over a grand. Owner said it has a 400 in it.

I know of a '64 Grand Prix 421 3x2 4 speed with tilt 8 lugs etc... it is in saveable condition and all there. This is not my car, It belongs to a guy I know. Last time I talked to him he wanted $3500 - $3800 something like that. I'm not into 64's or I would already own it. Let me know if you are interested and I'll set you up with him. email me growens@hbcsc.net

Greg, Thanks for the info. I'm goign to go see the car. He's upped his price to $4500 but I don't blame him. I'd do the same! Sounds very interesting. I really appreciate the lead. Thanks, Steve

What kind of parts are you looking for? Need anything from an old 1963/1964 Catalina? If so let me know.

Also, there was a glass triangular bottle and a bracket that was mounted nest to the washer fluid resivour. Any idea what this is for? Or did someone just add it on there. Thanks.

That's the refill bottle for the windshield washer fluid, so you can carry some extra with you in case you run out. It was a GM part, altho I'm not sure if they were put in at the factory or at the dealer. You see a lot of them under the hood of 1960s GM cars at car shows.

I have a couple of BIG Pontiacs I would like to sell, if anyone is interested,

One is a 69 Grand Prix SJ,

It is a numbers car, 428, TH400, 373posi, PS, PB, A/C. Runs strong but needs a new exhaust system and some minor body work and complete paint job. Car is blue/blue w/rally wheels, less than 100,000 mi. Perfect interior (except where you squeeze the door handles on inside) vinyl is cracked, only 3rd owner, bought 1991, Asking price, $9,600 (Negotiable)

I also have a 64 Grand prix that is for sale,

it has not been driven since 1970, Bucket seats, P/S, P/B, A/C, console w/vaccumm guage, the car needs minor body work and complete paint, vinyl top needs replaced, interior needs recovered, carpet and headliner also, minor rust in passenger floor, bumpers need chrome, turn signal lens covers cracked, original tranny with car but not engine, have a early 70's 400 engine if wanted. i have a buddy with a '64 Ventura Catalina factory 4 spd. he'd probably sell it for the right price.

it has a running 389 in it from another '64, but it needs total restoration.

he also still has the other '64 parts car.

Talking How rare...

is a '64 Catalina four door sedan with 421 factory four speed with air? Just curious, as I know of one possibly for sale. Helluva snoozer!

I believe the bottle was factory installed in ALL GM cars (of the era) that were ordered with the "optional" windshield washers.
Single speed wipers were standard & two speed were optional.
The squirters were extra AGAIN!
The glass bottle was filled with concentrate & the idea was to pour an ounce into the reservoir & fill it up with water, unlike today where you just buy "premix" & EVERY vehicle comes with front & rear wipers with delay,THREE speeds & squirters

Hope you're weather there is as nice as ours.
