Default Nobody said it would be easy. 😁

So, I'm still not able to back up the 790hp Dyno number. I went to the track again last night, best run was 6.53 @ 109.8. With a miserable 1.63 60' time. I had to ease it out of the hole due to traction issues. I adjusted the Cal-Tracs bars and shocks to try and get it to hook since my last track day. But no luck. I ordered new ET Streets. The current are really old( 2019 ) and have no tread indicator in The center so I am assuming they are toast. Hoping the new tires will get it to stick. I could live with a minor tire spin, maybe just teasing at a spin. But last 2 times out the tire spin was bad. Wallace calculators show me somewhere in the 725 to 740 hp range. So I have a little work to do

That is frustrating! Any one who races has been there. I'm sure you'll get it figured out.

You get that 60' figured out and you should be right there. In the 1.3s ought to do it.
You will get there.

I figure I should be able to get into the 1.30s for 60' times. The best so far was a 1.44 easing it off the line. That pass was a 6.22@111mph. I am also going to mount my GoPro in a location so I can watch the suspension work, to see what it's doing when launching.

Have a friend take some video of your launches. That is what my buddy did to fix his problems.

I think it weighs around 3600 with driver. I had it weighed with the stock block and E heads, it weighed 3250. I'm 250, add the IA block and the CV1 heads are heavier than the e-heads.. so I'm guessing around 3600

The chances that your engine made 790 HP on the dyno are very slim. That is the corrected HP not the measured HP. Same thing at the track. Unless you are running at DA = 0 your engine is making less than 790 HP. Now you should take this simulations with a grain of salt.

Using 770 HP.

60 Foot ET = 1.6368
330 Foot ET = 4.3233
1/8 Mile ET = 6.5460
1/8 Mile MPH = 110.2077
1000 Foot ET = 8.4704
1/4 Mile ET = 10.0851
1/4 Mile MPH = 140.6796

No other change but increased traction.

60 Foot ET = 1.3949
330 Foot ET = 3.9772
1/8 Mile ET = 6.1768
1/8 Mile MPH = 111.0731
1000 Foot ET = 8.0892
1/4 Mile ET = 9.6969
1/4 Mile MPH = 141.1984

Video is your best friend! It takes time to sort a car out, especially if it was borderline before with less power!! You'll get there!

The Dyno definitely used a correction factor...it was 1.046 according to the sheet. I always take simulations with a grain of salt...they are just a best guess in my opinion.
