Default Flywheel PRW sfi

Got my flywheel resurfaced today...........when taking it off, i assumed it was somewhat rusted on, has been on since 2010, had to beat that thing off with a sledge hammer and a 2X4..............so today i go to put it back on, im thinking it shouldnt be this tight, i mean on you tube they are pulling these things off by hand. lol

Did my best to measure, crank is 2.754............flywheel opening is 2.736......my measuring is off some i assume.

So i finally got it on pulling it in with the bolts, then i thought im taking this motor in to get fixed, didnt want the guy struggling with it..............so once again i had to beat it off the crank.............well this time i didnt have to swing so hard.

Do i try a new flywheel, or is this the way its suppose to fit.

i did not measure mine but about 2 months ago, it was a very tight fit. infact i had to take a flap wheel to get it to atleast start. If youre measurements are accurate, and i dont doubt it that would explain. its should be a snug fit in my opinion. my factory cast iron one goes on much easier, if it took an 11'' clutch it would be the one on the back of the block!

It is super tight. I have to tap mine on with a block of wood and a hammer. If the bolt holes dont line up you cant even spin it.

Mine was really tight also. I cut the heads off the old bolts and used them to guide it on. I held a cold pack on the crank while my buddy heated the flywheel with a heat gun. It went on pretty easy now with just light taps with a block of wood.
