MSD street fire CDI box
Anybody use one of these? It’s the little black street version of the 6AL. I need a rev limiter and I bought one refurbished directly from MSD for 116 all in. That is the absolute cheapest way to get a rev limiter period. The thing I liked was if it fails with the ready to run distributor you just bypass it. Anybody got experience with this unit?

Yep, been running it for several years with my factory HEI on the previous 73 and the current bird. Zero issues. I upgraded to the digital 6al just last fall so I could setup a 2 step rev limiter.

Besides the rev limiter do you think it made a difference in idle quality for example like the 6AL does?
