What would you recomend me cleaning my power stearing box and linkage with? degreaser? or something else? I need to clean it real good and then repaint it. Thanks!

I used denatured alchohol and tooth brush looking wire brush, then I painted it with the high temperature engine paint. I may not be correct but that was over a year ago and it has held up nicely. Even after some of the fluid spilled on it.

I filled my parts washer with mineral spirits, works great and it's cheap!

Austin -
There is a "no elbow grease" method (well, a whole lot less anyways), but that depends on the wallet. I have tried a product called Rusteco from Ecoclean 2000 that has thus far worked GREAT on smaller components. I say say smaller components since I only purchased 1-gallon worth of Rusteco and am using small plastic holding containers. Rusteco is environmentally friendly so there are no toxic waste concerns as there are with say a muriatic acid bath. And no... I am not a distributor or salesman ('person' for the politically correct people). Just pleased with the results I have seen so far.
