Can anyone tell me about the quality of the repo hood hinges available , I dont want to shell out bucks for these if they are no good . What about restoring the originals?? does anyone know who does this.

I have used a set on a 68 with no problems . The quality was good also .

Mr. Moore -
I saw reproduction hinges and springs in the G-18 catalog of Ames Performance Engineering. According to their write-up they spent five years getting the correct look and strength. Ames Performance Engineering

Seen a couple of them, look alright. Want to get a set for my 67 goat. PY has them.
