I posted this in 78-81 thought I'd get some more input.
I'm replacing some T top weatherstrips as they have lost theri "crush" and leak on my 81 TA. The good thing is the old ones have little to no glue on them, probably part of why they leak.
The body shop manual says to use a "pumpable sealer" in the grrove and black weatherstrip cement on the gasket. What is pumpable sealer?
The actual groove in to the insed of the sealing surface so it would seem the entire bottom of the gasket should have sealer on it to me.

I'm sure I overdid it on my 78 15 years ago but they don't hardly leak.
