Anybody have any ideas on how to get a plastic overflow bottle to look nice and white again? I've tried bleach, but it's still yellow. Thanks for the help.

You may need to bite the bullet and buy another. My bottle did the same and I tried a Sulfuric solution and still the same.( It actually may have darkened it a little) But hey I'm no chemist, obviously

I would love to buy an overflow bottle, but bottles for 73-74 firebirds are awful hard to find. There was one on ebay a while back that went for around $125. I bid on it but was outbid at the last minute. For $125 and as hard as they are to find, I think that it's well worth the effort to see if there's any way to restore my old one. Unless anyone knows where I can find a new one?

If you don't care about the stock factory look, there are several aftermarket ones out there.

How about trying some of the new tupperware cleaner that's supposed to be fomulated to pull tough stains out of plastic. It's worth a shot.

You can try CLR, Oxy-Clean, or vinegar. Don't know if it'll work, but that's what I'd use if I cared how mine looked. I prefer mine the nice furry green color inside. That really shows character.

RAJ7395,
Do you know what that tupperware cleaner is called and where I can get some?
