Default Quadrajet ID

So, I have what I think is a suitable quadrajet for rebuild. Decoding the 7029262 is easy enough, not sure what the “H8” and “VC” represent..

Can anyone enlighten me...?

Thank You...

H8 = August 1968 Production by Carter
VC = Quick-ID code for assembly line installers , simplified/streamlined instead of using the 7 digit application codes for ID.
Each carb application had its own 2 digit alpha code.

In box #18 of this buildsheet is the CARB ID Box = VC
VC = 7029262

262 was the lowest 4bbl in 69 on certain 400's and base 428's
But you can make it perform how ever you want with the right jets rods and hangers.
