Not a factory shifter. Early aftermarket Hurst shifter for a non Corvette car . Early 60s/mid Corvette has different levers.

shifter
this is an aftermarket hurst that was used by many in 57-62 corvettes back in the day and they also work pretty well in the 62-64 Pontiac full-size cars with a console. Very nice shifter to use in a hot rod they shift really well with that short stick.

Hurst did not offer the shifters with the "lever stops" in the early days but by the Mid 60s (thanks to the 64 GTO
having a factory Hurst shifter (no name on the stick then), the Vette boys and others jumped on the wagon. If I wasn't running a Leonard Long Shifter and a 5 speed trans today, that shifter would be off the market right now and on the way to me. The shifters with the "stops" were always better for people who liked to Power Shift. That is a good one. Tom V.
