Default Freakshow Torque Converters

I would like to know if anyone has purchased and is using a Freakshow Torque converter. I am not looking for opinion's, he said or she said. Just would like to hear first hand experience . I understand this is the same company that was doing business as Redneck converters but looking for more recent experience with their Freakshow converters. Thank you

Ive had a few a didn't have any problems. I used a th400 , He built the snout a little longer for another application and had to have some extra hardened shims in between flexplate and converter but otherwise drove ok. mine was a 4200 stall but when I did have it on the street it felt ok.

Still have a redneck converter sitting in the box but will be getting used shortly. If I remember correctly the stall code was 3-082 and they tightened up as much as possible lowering the stall speed to 2700 rpm.

Glad to hear they are around rebranded but the same quality.

I have 2 of them bought several years ago....2013 if I remember right. One was in my Firebird for a season. Stall speed was close to what I asked for and it gave me some great 60' times but too loose below the stall speed and didn't lock up well on the top end. The other one is in my wife's 400 powered T/A. Stall speed is too high and it's also too loose below the stall speed. I have a nice Continental/Ultimate 10" converter I really need to get put in that car...

I have a Redneck in my racecar that stalls around 5000 rpm and has about 7.8% slip across the line. The car lurches when I put it in first gear.
