Just wondering if the new GTO will have to post here. Doesn't it run a small block Chevy?

That car would require a "non-Pontiac motors in non-Pontiacs" forum.

I find it fairly sad that GM has had to go out of the country to find a car with some spirit. Seems like they have lost direction. Just about the time they get a car right they cancel it. I believe their market share over the years should tell them something. Down down down. Come on guys, plastic cladding, fancy exhaust tips, and over excited accountants don't make exciting cars. Put the car guys back in charge.

Me too. Me too. I'm gonna drop one in my '67 Ragtop Tempest. LS1 That is, as soon as I get a chance at a wrecked Holden GTO.

I'll be back...

David Jones-
You're right on the money. Accountants DO NOT build cars, they just keep score. Engineers are the ones responsible for building the cars. Yes, GM's market share is shrinking, but they are still number one. Although, Toyota is gaining rapidly. Just ask Ford!

You know, the 2004 GTO is much like the 1964 GTO. GM just grabbed a car they were already producing, added a larger engine and threw some badging on it (1964 tempest + 389 = GTO). I believe GM hasn't changed their ways in 40 years. Do You?

Again the ignorance snake has shown it's head. GM has been doing that for years. GM is a GLOBAL COMPANY. Ford does it. DC does it.

Have you seen the CTS V caddy? Tell me that car doesn't have spirit.
