Default Interesting new diecast...

Got an email from California Car Covers that lists a new GTO diecast...interesting choice. A little pricey, but nice detail.

ACME is the Co. that also did the ROYAL '66.
Great details as well, just not a fan of that Judge.

I think it's bad-ass!

Imagine Warren Oates driving his updated GOAT and looking for James Taylor?

Thanks for posting.. the detail is impressive and fun to see on both those models. That price is above my impulse-buy threshold but if I was a collector I think it's reasonable. I was totally surprised by the interior and engine bay - ribbed valve covers, "correct" emblem on the formula wheel, etc. NICE!

They are just about sold out everywhere!

In the FWIW category, ACME has just announced two additional 1970 Judges, to be shipped in September. For those that collect these things, would probably be a good idea to pre-order. I just ordered mine from Jeff at PYE.

Jon.

That....is an EXCELLENT idea.

Imagine updating both cars to a more modern pro-street/pro mod Drag Week/"Sick Week" vibe and racing each other as they drive across country.

Now: who should we cast?

Ah - thank you; I noticed that too. Post #7777!

Sorry for my delay in responding. I had to run out and buy a bunch of lottery tickets.

For those interested...here are the other two pre-order 70 GTOs.

Just received my 1970 GTO Judge Drag Outlaws model.

Nice looking from across the room, fit is not what I would have expected for a model in this price range.

Packaging is superior to some other companies.

I still have pre-orders in for the two coming this fall.

Jon.
