Default 1965 WT 421 Block $350

1965 WT 421 Block for sale $350 Standard 4 bolt main block. Yes, now for the buts........ I bought the block it was missing the #4 main cap and cranks. Standard block and I had a set of 2 bolt center mains so no worry. Finally ready to take to the machine shop and #4 cap would not line up right. Well. crank had beat up the thrust surface on the block and wore a 1/8" groove into the surface. Machinist said it can be repaired but not worth the time or cost to me. Guess that's why it was only $500. Has the heads, intake and some other small parts with it. I'll add pics soon if any interest. Located outside Las Vegas

If you added a different main cap it needs to be line bored.

That standard bore 421 block at that price is well worth repairing IMO. I would install 3 new billet caps, repair the little block damage, line bore and hone and you would have a very nice block for around a $1000.00.

It will for someone. I have 3 engines and 1 car and don't need this to just sit. Maybe I need to add the M/T .030 SD pistons for a few extra dollars to sweeten the pot

Default main caps

if you want a 4 bolt cap I think I have one. I bought a set years ago and one was cracked and the guy wouldn't take them back. I got burned but would like to get some of my money back. PM if interested
