Default Power window motor removal - 73 TA

Hi guys,

Does anyone have a guide for this process? First time doing it and not sure if the motor unbolts without the regulator, or if everything including the glass needs to come out.

Thank you.

In my experience the glass has to be removed and the motor and regulator come out as a unit. Have several laying around my shop.

I've removed and reinstalled the motors with the glass and regulators in place, left in the doors..

It's tricky and time consuming but it's not a terrible job.

Glass and regulators definitely do not have to be removed. The regulator is spring loaded so when you take the motor off the dowels be ready !!!
