Boss, Killer car and color combo looks awesome!

JJKJ, Love your color with the white vinyl top. I agree with you on the blue looks great but there is enough of them out there (no offense Boss). You have a unique combination that works very well thus making your car different and stick out. I personally would leave the color original but thats just me.

This car ride looks fine, front and rear. The were factory lower in rear for handling. Yours looks great, and im sure drives well

I wanted to get one cut out for my 78; I figured I would've been able to find a decent one already cut out by now. I hate to cut a nice unopened shaker but if I don't find a cut one soon, I may end up buying a good one to open up.
I might still have a shaker available; will have to check... Shoot me an e-mail or give me a call if you still have my number. Otherwise, a PM will suffice.

None taken - it was a color change to black.

Loved it but sold it a couple years ago, can't keep them all - looked better with the honeys on it.

I'll second that, clean indeed. The black looks great with those honeycombs ... but I'm bias. I'm saving that pic for some added motivation.

Well, this isnt a resto really, well its more than one for those down south that paint cars and get new interiors and call it a resto LOL, BUT I am now limited with what I can do physically, so its just a driver. Parts of it are nice and original, protected, but its no show piece. It will be way different than most any car, might be fun to take pics after and have a competition and let guys guess where the parts are from LOL, especially the cowl tag and Vin number, I havent picked them out yet, but I have a nice selection with some nice options.

More pics..Car was painted, clear coated, and is now being wet sanded for its second coat of clear, then a buffing later. paint mix is 90% black, and 10% light lavender ( purple) metalic "pearl" purple. Some pics I used flash to try to show the pearl, purple, it looks great in sunshine

Looks nice and flat from here! Some nice prep work prior to color really shows through when the florescent lights are straight as arrows and you can read the build sheet in the reflection! Congratulations.

Under scoops is healthy and well, not show condition, as this will be driven hopefully.

I went into the Napa looking to buy ATOLL blue paint, he had a sun lamp over the paint chip book, which SURE woke up that book of chips, when it was switched on!!
No floro lighting mess.. SUnshine on paint chips, very good idea actually...BUT>> I am color blind , especially in some colors, well enough to keep me out of the Navy for many years. ( you do NOT want me standing watch on navigation duty with red and green makers!!, not even on the USS Neversail LOL)
So the whole page of basically Blue looked well the same, but lighter and darker, I should have brought a friend with me.. I went alone.. The sun lamp lit up this color with a small amout of pearl in it, I liked the lightening and figred it was close to same shade anyway as Atoll, but, I cant tell, I know its purple now, I didnt then, it was a number.. My wife loves it.. go figure!
It will be black in the garage and a chicks car on the road most likely. My wife wanted our rare 95 Formula convertible painted purple ( its blue) like the rare 98 purple that was discontinued.. oh welll... paint flew....
