Default Melling M-54 oil pump

GMC/Pontiac 1955-58 V8 Oil Pump. It is a Melling M-54 which fits 55-58 V8 engines. Later pumps like the M-54D try to occupy the same space as the crankshaft!

This Melling M-54 is new and in a deteriorating Melling box. It has the helical (not straight) gears typical of the earliest pumps. I opened it up years ago when I first got it and put a bunch of assembly lube on the gears to prevent rusting.

$50 + shipping from 77379.
