Default Thinking of selling my 70 trans am project and parts stash.

Hey everyone. I am considering selling my nan nuys built 70 TA 4 speed car and a bunch of parts to fund another project. I would rather sell it complete though I may have to separate if I do decide to sell. I was hoping for opinions on a realistic estimated value or aking price for the lot. The car is rusty especially the roof and inside trunk area. All of the sheetmetal is original but the hood is shot and fenders are rough. The frame rails are good. I was originally going to replace the rear section with a back half roller from a 70 firebird, and fix the roof frame and install a skin. The engine Is original, and held antifreeze for the 10 years I have had it, but when I disassembled it, I found it was rebuilt with 030 piston and must have froze some time because there were sections of epoxy in some water jacket areas. Trans and 12 bolt are original. Listed below is a list of original and NOS parts I have with the car. Any help is appreciated on value.

GM NOS left quarter panel
GM NOS right quarter panel
GM NOS rear tail panel
GM NOS fiberglass rear tail panel cover
GM NOS front lower valance. (Steel)
GM NOS left door skin
GM NOS right door skin
original air cleaner housing
Original shaker scoop missing solenoid
Original fan
Original ram air manifolds
7040573 california carb
Front and rear 70 seats that need to be redone
Aftermarket trunk pan
Complete extra roof assembly
Rear cut off from a 70 firebird
3 - April 10th JW rims
1 -KR rim

A few more or the rear roller. I also have spare 70 seats, and front fender wells that go with the car along with the original heads, intake manifold and distributor. Floors are also repairable.

Looks like how my 70 started out as.

Idk what this value is, but I know how much I have into mine so far, and it's certainly not cheap bringing a car back from this level of disrepair.

When you get a price in mind, I might be interested in it. Lmk!

Will do. I know it might be easier to sell separately and may do so. If there is no interest in the complete package. I might try eBay first and see what happens. I was hoping to try for 13-14k for everything.

In my opinion… I would imagine you would get 18k-20k pretty easily for a #’s matching 4 speed car with all of the parts you have. I understand there’s a ton of work that needs to be done but these cars are getting harder and harder to find.

Do you have PHS? Is it a M20 or M21?

Thanks for the reply. Yes I do have the PHS. The trans is a M21

I'd be seriously interested at that price point. When you're ready to sell PM me, and maybe we can work something out.

Where are you located?

I'd be interested in the KR wheel for my '72.

Tell me about it. The car ran when I got it. Sat for a long time holding antifreeze while I had it. It wasn't until I pulled it apart to go through I found it had been cracked in the past and someone used what looked to be some type of epoxy or marine tex to repair.. I will say it didn't leak but I was extremely upset to find what was done.

Don't count it out. My brother had his original 69 T/A WQ block welded up down here in Houston by a company that repairs diesel engines for heavy equipment and tug boats! Had a long crack in the lifter valley from one of those rare hard freezes we get every once in a while.

For someone looking to do a ground up resto, this car and parts is a great starting point. Especially if the block can be repaired.

Thanks Guys. I am not sure what I am doing yet. I am currently looking at a 72 trans am 4 speed thats in better shape. If I buy it I will sell everything I have to finance restoring that car. I would like to sell it as a package but understand it may be easier to sell the car and parts separate depending on who needs what.
