In a Collectible Automobile article about 71-76 Chevys, it says after 3/1/71 all V8 powered big GM cars got the TurboHydro 350 standard, with TH 400 as option.

Chevy still had the 250 ci I6 with 3 speed manual until 1973. 71-72 was in Biscayne/Belair/Impala, for '73 only in the BelAir. Of course one could get an automatic with a 6, also.

My older brother ordered a new '74 Catalina sedan, and one of the options he checked off was the adjustable pedals.

In 2003, he located a '71 LeSabre sedan, with column 3-speed manual & 350. Drove it from Missoula MT to Maine.
An elderly couple that lived three houses down from us in the seventies, had a '72 Biscayne with 6 cylinder/3-on-the-tree.

Okay before I answer are you also on the BCA board?? I seem to remember a guy on there who had a kingswood estate and Grandville but at last I saw him on there , no Buick. His name was SHAEFFER (not sure on the spelling). Is that you?

Okay on to mine :

1973 Grandville convertible. Im kind of new to Pontiacs so Im not sure what is standard on this car and what isnt so Im just going to list what I think are options:

Power windows
Power brakes
Power steering
Remote trunk release
Rally II wheels
Center armrest
Air conditioning
Map light
Power seat
"Mist" setting on wipers
455-V8
Dual exhaust
Door edge guards
Vinyl side mouldings
Electric clock
Remote sport mirror on drivers side
sport mirror on passenger side
Front and rear bumper guards
Vanity mirror on passenger sun visor

I believe that the disc brakes , power top, AM radio and glass rear window were all standard equipment for the car

I've added a "few options" to my Grand Safari. I built it the way is should have been built!

1975 Grand Safari wagon
PS, PB, PW, A/C (freezes ya out!), tilt, cruise, power seat,
power rear window and tailgate, gauge package, CD player with new speakers and sub,
completely rebuilt front suspension, new rear leafs,
3.42 12 bolt limited slip rear
455 6X-8 lightly ported heads
041 cam, Rhodes lifters, stock 1.5 rockers
RPM intake, 800 quad recipe #2 ala Cliff R.
1 5/8 ceramic headers, 3" exhaust with "X" pipe, Hooker Aero chamber mufflers,
255/70-15 tires , going to install air bags and class III hitch this winter for some major towing.
She idles like a dream and has made many people laugh/cry at the stop light drags!
I'd like to take it to the Grove to see what this 5300 pound sled would do. I'm guessing high 14's/ low 15's.
A highly practical and fun car for the whole family of 6!

My '72 Grand Ville ragtop came with the following:
455 (yeah, I know it's all the Grand Villes came with, but I just like writing '455')
single exhaust.
Power top
Power seat
Power windows
AM radio
Power door locks
Auto Temp Control A/C

Can't think of anything else.
