Awesome! I love early Chevy's. My buddy has a 409/409 '62 Bubble Top. Too bad he did not leave it alone.

Two words, tire technology. Manufacturers could not make a tire that low profile 40 years ago. If they could have they would have. I like the dog dish look, but it too is becoming a fad. My car came with them so I put them back on, with the RWL on the inside of course.

I finally found a pic of mine with Povs and BFGs. If I were to change anything it would probably be painting the wheels Fontaine Blue as well.

I host my photos on http://photobucket.com/ rather than download them here onto the PY server where they end up as a thumbnail. However once you click on your thumbnail the pic is as as big as the ones you see here.

Ponchjoe, love that car!! Waiting for spring to mount my BFGs/povs on my '65. The only difference is I did paint mine Fontaine Blue.

Clearly those caps are photoshopped, it looks like you run your car without caps all the time too.
