That is a new one to me also, I agree I like the original Studebaker versions, but the farther they strayed from the original the less interesting they got to me. This one is just odd to my eyes, Interesting but not in a good way.

Two ads for two different Firebirds from the same seller in NY both at $6K BIN OBO. The 68 convertible has new quarters installed and is missing the doors and fenders and prolly a lot more. The 67 hardtop looks more complete, but both are very much project cars. Seller is claiming the 67 has a Ram Air engine, but it looks like a 69 Grand Prix 350HP engine. Both cars have PS/PB which is cool.

68 Firebird convertible white/white with a black top automatic at $32K BIN in CA. Doesn't say whether or not it's an original CA car, but if it is huge plus. This is very reasonably priced IMO.

At least a 1969 400. I like how they show a list of 1967 Firebird engine codes and this (XH) isn't on it? ![]()

74 GTO tribute 4 speed 350 in Arizona at $25K BIN. The 73 and 74 GTO's were born in a bad time for muscle cars and were basically cobbled together models based on other models with appearance options. The 74 looks like a Chevy Nova, which is sort of an odd crossover. Fun fact about a 74 GTO is the shaker had a functioning Ram Air flapper. The Trans AM Ram Air inlet flapper went away in 1973 due to the noise it let out. This is a really nice looking car that you couldn't build for $25K if you started from scratch. The 4 speed with console looks good in a sharp interior. I'm not sure how much of a hit this car takes in being a tribute? FWIW they made just under 5000 GTO's in 74.

That's a really sharp car. All the brightwork and interior look exceptional.

Yellow 1970 GTO in CA at $500 NR. Feedback should be looked into. Wheels look like maybe they're Buick/Chevy?
