That's just a really good choice. You can't go wrong with the vintage American look. After trying Rallye's and Honeycomb's, I am now on these. I think they are it.

Same here. I've collected not one red cent since my first job in 1973. Never unemployed. Always contributed, so no guilt here. |

So you're buying Torque Thrust wheels from "AMERICAN RACING" in the US, and buying them stimulates a company known as "AMERICAN RACING". I'm not seeing a problem here spending money in the US to stimulate an "AMERICAN" company.............
What could be more patriotic than buying wheels from "AMERICAN RACING"???? Keeping workers at their jobs producing wheels in the USA is exactly what the money was to go for, or did I miss something here? Putting the money in the bank doesn't stimulate the US economy, spending it as soon as possible keeps the US workers getting steady paychecks. |

I’ll be buying tires too. But for the 2500 Silverado. E series tires, ugh, expensive!

If you're working, and have already budgeted money for food, and mortgage, the next best thing is spending it at an American company so they don't have to furlough their workers. They can continue to work, and pay their own food and mortgage bills.
This isn't complicated, it's really very simple, keeping people working as opposed to giving them handouts. |

My wife and I haven't received any of the stimulus checks yet! But, if Y'all read my thread about "Scummers" getting us then you already know that. If we do get them they are going toward our burial expenses so neither one of us will have that to deal with when the time comes. I just hope we gt the money before then!

Those are some nice looking wheels, the more you look at them the better they look. If I wasn't going for a stock plain jane look those wheels would be my next choice.

I bought a 67 326 HO Firebird in 1969, that had a set already installed. I kept those wheels for 10 years, and transferred them from car to car. American quit making them for a period, and came out with the 200S wheels, which I also owned 3 sets of. Not quite the same, but still a very nice looking wheel too. They're also very strong, I hit an 8 inch curb surrounding the end of a boulevard trying to avoid a senior driver that pulled out in front of me from a side street, one Sunday afternoon. I blew 3 tires out but didn't damage the wheels at all. Considering they were aluminum wheels I thought they'd break, but nary a problem with any of them. |

I believe that only the forged wheels are 100% American made but they are my favorite wheel, good choice!
I have a set of TTO’s on my ‘66 and a set of six spokes on my Colorado.

We didn't actually decide to buy anything with our (partial) stimulus check in January.
But we did purchase two Cocoon by Sealy mattresses (made in the USA) that were about the same amount of what our check actually was. We would have purchased them with or without the stimulus check though. Kind of different buying a mattress that comes in a relatively small box. Heavy box, but once you open and unroll the mattress, it "grows" to it's intended size in short order. |
