What was the first year for the dimmer switch on the column? I just picked up a tilt column with cruise and a dimmer switch of the column.

I'm not sure when it was, but I don't think '72 was it. I've owned a '73 Luxury LeMans since '85 and the dimmer is located on the floor. It has tilt steering (whether this has anything to do with it).

Yup, GP's changed in 73 and Firebirds changed in 79 or 80 (I'm pretty sure 79). Not sure about GTO's though...

Later,
Kevin

Firebird changed in 79. My 79 is on the turn signal. My 78 had it on the floor.
