My 66 Star Chief, with 389 2bbl. Stock headers and exhaust...but I cut everything off at the back of the rear doors, no mufflers at all. Havent driven it like this yet, but I like the way it sounds. Cheap and gives me the growl I want. Im sure it drones, but its a weekend cruiser, not a daily driver, so its all good.

Also, excuse the poor audio & video quality, it was taken on my cell phone. I will take a better video soon.

Are you running headers?

Anything else you can share about your system? I would like mine to sound that way and thanks!

I do have headers. I have removed and sold the Pypes system. It was too quiet for my taste. Now have 3" exhaust with h-pipe and Borla mufflers.

I'll get a new video soon. Wife got me a GoPro video camera for Christmas. I think a drive around video with it mounted to the bumper would be a cool exhaust sound video.
