You guys are a bad influence! And which one of you told Classic Industries to hold the last Trans Am spoiler in stock for me with a 20% discount that ends at midnight tonight? Huh? I know it had to be someone here! LOL
But I have to say, this looked good to me, so I caved in. Thanks for pushing me over the edge! Ok, so now it's down to either the silver with black stripes or white with blue stripes...and the spoiler I didn't think I was going to get...thanks for being enablers! I'd probably go with solid white.

Solid white is cool, no doubt, and I can always add stripes later if I don't figure it out first.

like the reproduction 69 Judge spoiler, its made to sit off the quarterpanel instead of on the quarterpanel like originals.
on my 69 Judge clone I simply sanded the mounting legs down as far as needed to get the spoiler down on the quarters with the pads. I vote for leaving it all white. maybe a nice thin red pen stripe. |

Looks like you're close enough that maybe they can ship it to you for less than a $250 shipping and handling fee....

Yeah, they're 20 miles away. I'll go jump in the truck next week and go get it. UPS will destroy that thing for sure, and at Oversize 2 pricing, you know it will be a fortune to ship.
Then I can inspect it while I'm there for any damage before I leave, and make sure it gets back to my shop in one piece. |

The 69 came out of the suspension shop with new real leaf springs, alignment done, brakes fixed, and now it's at the muffler shop. With luck I'll pick it up on Saturday, or tomorrow afternoon maybe.
Then a new power antenna goes in next week, then off to the body shop. The body shop owner says (like Tom S told me) white with red stripes to match the interior. Slowly but surely... |

I second the black with red sprint stripes or even just a double red pinstripe. I'm not a fan of white cars.

I'm not a fan of black cars. I had one, once. PITA to keep clean. I've got a dark blue C5 Corvette, and it's almost as bad as black. Sorry, no dark cars for this guy! LOL

LOL, you rascal you! Well, there's some bleeding through of the green primer or previous paint on the passenger side rear quarter panel and some bubbling of the paint in a few spots, so it's going to require fixing.
Or if you would lend me yours...is that an option? (Just kidding!) |

What about silver with red accent stripes?

I thought about that but I have a pewter / silver Corvette, a silver 300C, so I'm trying to balance out the color schemes between all six cars I have. LOL

I saw a mustang online the other day in white with blue stripes outlined in red. It looked amazing and would have looked even better with red interior. That would be my choice.

These aren’t the pics I saw, but these are the stripes- would look amazing on a white car with red interior

Done right it would really tie in the red interior

I think wide red stripes with blue pinstripes would be cool, too on this one.
