Default 2" Headers for 68 Firebird

Hi: Anyone running 2" headers in a 68 Firebird?

I'm not having any luck finding them.

Thanks for any help.

I have a set of Indian adventure 2in headers that are coated by thermo tech. With a 8 chanel egt red alert system I may sell soon.

Let me know if Mark is making them, I called last year and they were not. I have Maddog on my driver side and Hedman on the passenger side. Both 2".

I had Headmans on my 67 Firebird. They had a slip tube on the passenger side. They hung too low on the passenger side. I had to shorten every tube to bring it closer to the floor for ground clearance. But the Header bolts were all very easy to access and tighten.
I now have a set of MadDogs I bought from a member here. They fit great and no slip tubes. But the rear header bolt on the middle tubes on the drivers side is a pain in butt to tighten/loosen.

If anyone contact Maddogs and they will still make a set, let me know because I'll go for a set also. I have a set on my 74 ventura and they fit/work great, now I need a set for the wife's car because the old hedmans of mine I put on her car fit like crap(slip tube BS) and are getting thin from age. Last time I called they said no but she said a cousins brothers uncles father in law may make a set for if I called at a certain time to get a cell number...

I called two months ago and the person answering the phone gave me his cell. I wrote it down on a post it. Have to see if I can find it.

I'd be down to order a set my ventura as well. I don't need 2" probably 1 3/4...What best for 600hp e-head combo?

Mark is retired but does a little custom work IF he has the jig.He got rid of the jig for first gen RA V headers. If what you want is not on the Maddog site then give Mark a try.Tom
