Ken,
While that is true, I took it to mean he didn't "hook up" the fuel flow meter.

The car weighed 3550 before. The IA block is a little heavier so I guess aprox 3590 now. Im not sure what it will run. ..what I would like it to run is 6.0s. But other things besides motor HP may limit that. ( gear, converter, being able to hook..lol..) The converter may be too tight. Went to 4400 behind my 474. Will probably flash higher now but hopefully will lock up with a decently low slip percent. I could usually get the car to hook before but im gonna upgrade the rear shocks fro. The generic red rider shocks to aide the suspension.

I dynoed with my 2' headers that had the 421 collectors, they actually lowered my torque peak compared to my old 1 7/8 with a a standard collector, that peak was 5200! I would guess these 2" with the standard collector which i now have on would be similar maybe 100 rpm more with more up top? I will take hp gain any day day over torque at the launch, maybe a tractor engine yes, but that's not what we're building!

Mine flash's at 5500 but seams lose out the back. Mite it have to do with the
3:42 gear. I put the 3"42 in when I run the blower motor. I wanted to try
this converter with these gears, maybe have to go back to 3"73's?
Thanks for any info.
