Ram Air III kit upgrade for 69 Firebird 400 / 4 BBL w/AC
Has anyone tried to add a Ram Air III upgrade to their 69 Firebird 400 that has factory AC? I have to figure it might have clearance issues, but also if it only fits a Ram Air III 400 motor/carb, not the regular 400/330 hp motor.
Anyone done or tried it? https://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/pro...yle-hood/22396 |

Fits a factory intake and carb. When I see you we can put my RA lower pan on your engine and see if it has a issue with the AC unit.Tom

Well, when Sir Bill finishes with my accelerator pedal fixes we'll discuss that. Apparently mine was bent in directions that weren't intended by the Pontiac designers. Got him new parts to replace yesterday...but of course, a few other things were found during disassembly.

RAIII motors came with AC if so ordered so i would hope that kit is a drop in/ on.

I ended up getting the RA II kit from them, just seemed a lot easier.
