Default Saving a Bonnie?

Saw this on a trailer driving back from Florida, hope it’s getting saved.
Looking at it, it is a Bonnie rite?

Yes, it's a 1962 Bonneville. Pretty rough around the edges.

Looks more like a donor car than a restoration candidate.

Looks like the frame is still good. They usually rusted out right at the frame connection in front of the rear wheel. There usually is a crack in the fender right at the back of the rear side window.

That's interesting. My first car was a '63 Impala 2 door hardtop and it had that crack just as you described.

Seen a 61 Bonneville Conv today in a Florence Music Museum today;
Colt 45s on all door handles
Rifles along thequarterpanels
Century ols Silver dollars imbedded in the dash, pedals, console.
The Brake was an iron frypan
The Console was horse saddle
8-lug rims looked excellent

Car looked fantastic actually

Must have been a Nudie designed Bonneville. Country music singer Webb Pierce had a Nudie 1962 Bonneville, the Country Music Hall of Fame has that car. I don't know who the 1961 was built for.

His was a 1963. Nudie built a bunch of them over the years, using Pontiacs, Cadillacs and at least one Buick. I think Elvis had one of his cars too.

That was the Bonneville on Beverley Hill Billys. One of Grannys Western actors drove up in it to meet Granny. He saw a photo of Alley May and thought she was granny and got a date with her before seing her.
