Default Mystery fuse box wire

This wire at the fuse box was unhooked when I bought the car (72 Lemans).
It's a red plug with terminal for fuse box with a black wire and an orange wire with a black stripe. Orange with black stripe wire goes to a harness plug with two orange and two yellow wires. With that, I have an empty fuse holder with an orange wire on one end and orange with black stripe on other end.
What would the fuse holder be for and the plug to fuse box for?
This car did come with an eight track tape player (gone). Could it have been for that?

Default

I think I figured it out by looking at the schematic. I do need a fuse in the factory fuse holder for relay for my seat back locks and electric door locks.
