Oh was it? I was told by the guy who supposedly sold it to Paul L. that the car belonged to a contact of his from Delaware. That gentleman passed and his son offered it to this guy who then sold it to Paul L. He mentioned the car sat apart for a long time, maybe 20+ years, IIRC. I typically check body tags on any car I’m considering buying but after hearing this story, I look for body serials with EXTREMELY LOW NUMBERS! Incredible find any which way.

I am going by the story as I recall from Smoke Signals. As I am originally from DE, I think it would have resonated with me if it was from there. Someone needs to dig out that article and see as my membership has lapsed at the moment.

I tried searching the web for back story and could only find reference to the POCI story. I’ve meant to join POCI for a while. Wonder if I join, can I get archival content? It’s a great story so it’d be worth it.

Yes, you'll have access to past issues.

I've got to hold off renewing for a few months due to dog surgery, so the archive is my saving grace. :-)

Oh man, I know how that goes with the pooches, good luck with your dog’s surgery.

I’ll join POCI, read up and report back.
