All back together under the hood. I'll be taking up fenders, & front bumper Monday.
My buddy says it sounds very rowdy!! Idles at 1000 and almost 900 in drive.
It spins the tires with ease with the crappy carb. I have a 71 455 HO carb that I'll be rebuilding with a kit from Cliff very soon.

How about some new pictures of the swap? There hasn't been any posted since 2014.

Engine idles much smoother and better throttle response from the newly built carb with Cliff's kit. The jets and metering rods seem to be right on the money!!

Thanks!! I'm going to DMV to get plates after work today.
I have extra alt brackets I will redo and swap out.
Waiting for the rear tires to arrive, and I finally found the new set of rims I had in storage.

I would keep the car white with the original striping and also keep the engine some shade of Pontiac blue. The contrast will look awesome.

I've been collecting NOS parts for 20 years. A girl I went to HS with worked parts counter at a Pontiac dealer in the late 80's & I worked there part time in the early 90's.
Front clip is all NOS sheet metal. I have most of the weatherstrips, seat belts & stripes. Full set of rims, all the emblems.
Missed out on the Recaro cloth for the seats last year on E-Bay but not enough material for all 4 seats. I still need the steering wheel, shifter and E Brake handles.
Guy on E-bay has a couple of them but way too high on the $$.

Motor is not Pontiac blue...closer to Ford blue to match the stripes.
