hello. can someone tell me what mods are necessary when putting a performer rpm intake and eldelbrock car on a 400 stock trans am motor. will the shaker scoop need modification because it will certainly sit 4-5 inches higher. thanks.

Most of the guys I have seen end up bolting the scoop to the hood. Another way would be to get an extra aircleaner base and cut out the center and weld in a dropped base.
