Default 1968 M-20 Cluster gear
I had to get all new gears for my Muncie M-20 and the new cluster set does not have the "STAR WHEEL" on the front like my original had. I can't seem to find one that has that wheel riveted to it. Is it necessary? I would use the old wheel but have no rivets to install to it the new cluster. Thanks

Not necessary, in fact better without. They can come apart and cause havoc. Most builders remove that anti-rattle star.
