The owner wants to keep it correct as possible. Doug, thanks for the leads on the parts. He is missing the engine and ram air setup. He already found an original spoiler and glovebox door. HFR will advise on the buildsheet. Car was built 01B in Fremont.

Fellas, please post about Frank Rizzo elsewhere. I don't want this thread to get locked down. Thanks John

Good looking project! The missing parts shouldn't be too hard to find.

How's the Matador Red car coming along John?

John, looks like it came with buckets but no center console? Very cool car and great to see it being saved by the brother.

Great find and looking forward to seeing more about it in the future. Looks alot like one I helped a guy unload at the GTO Nationals in Columbus, Ohio back in in 89. That 71 Judge was from Indiana and was QG, 455HO four speed. I have wanted one since then but have been content with my 71 GTO until I can afford one. I hope they install the eight track player back in it. That would be cool.

Wow I forgot I posted that before. Blows holes in my latest story because I said it was only a year ago when I found out, and here I was posting in April 2010.... Time sure flies when your having fun.

The 4spd console was in the trunk along with the original 8 track player. All factory options were there with the car except for the wing, golvebox door and 2 Honeycomb rims. Those items have already been secured for the resoration.

Owner is looking for an engine but wants to get the body and paint done first before he might run out of money.

Really a cool story and no holes! Honest Judges are rare (no pun intended)!!

Tell me about running out of money before you even start....A labor of love is priceless IMHO.

He needs everything under the hood including ram air pans and air cleaner. Going to see if he has any $$ left over after the paint and body work. I am going to see the car in the next 2 weeks when I go out to the shop. May have an update then.

Wow what an amazing find and glad it didn't get scrapped. It's great to see it getting saved. Hey john can you keep us posted on the rebuild? I'd love to see it when done.

What a cool story! I hope the car was finished, or at least kept in the family.
