Default The last 71 Judge

I have a friend with a 1P123xxx Judge, built third week of February and I think the Quezal 4 speed Judge owned at one time by Don in GA was 1P124xxx.Both were shipped to Canada. It would seem to me, these were among the last cars built. Does anyone know what the latest-built car was?

I'm sure someone has the answer. What I've learned over the years is that if anyone has a question about 71 Judges, the answer will be found on this web site.

Depends on Plant I would think?

Pontiac plant had one with P133xxx, 3-17-71 shipped date. (Quezal Gold)
This one was G106xxx, with 3-1-71 shipped date. (Laurentian Green)

I recall an issue of a Car magazine with the guy who who owns Surf City Garage (wax polishes etc). Had photos of the first 71 Judge and the last 71 Judge and he owned them both.

My thought, & this is just thoughts... is no more Judges after 03A and that's Pontiac & Fremont plant, the two big volume plants.

GT-37's stripes changed mid March (03B, 03C bodys). GT-37 sales took off with new stripe design, & word has always been, no more Judges were built by the time the revised GT-37 package was introduced. That said I've never ran across a '71 Judge built in early March '71.

geogolfx,

Love to see that too.

I would think a little documentation would eliminate all doubts.

Hopefully the article shows some proof.

Don't think there was proof. It was more of an overview of the Surf City Garage car collection. I'll dig it up.

Wow - nice collection of cars - where is that?

Any info on the OO 71 Judge sitting over the white painted chrome nose LeMans?

The Surf City collection includes the tropical lime/jade interior automatic '71 Judge that was sold as a project out of Alaska about 5 years ago. A fellow was asking on, I believe PY, about restoring it as a teen first car project with his son. I believe several of us talked some sense into him & he ended up selling it on eBay. Do remember it was NOM Judge missing a lot of expensive drivetrain parts. Any one have a copy of the invoice on this car?

Looks like they bought Don's old Quezal Gold Judge with hood tach. Maybe that is whats considered the last one?

Probably not as it has honeys.

Didn't see a red one.

The OO might be the ebay one recently discussed?

Good eye and memory Roger on the TL one.

[QUOTE=Judge273;4467914].Looks like they bought Don's old Quezal Gold Judge with hood tach. Maybe that is whats considered the last one?

I think the Quezal 4 speed car was 1P131 or 1P133, not 124 as I said earlier, making this and Tellishavelli White car the latest cars.

Try to focus on good verifiable information about the last 71 judges here guys, some of you apparently have limited attention spans and after we finish with this , we'll discuss the first 71 judges and the surf-city collection all you want okay?

DRI, yours was the Quezal Gold Judge?

There was also a P133xxx 71 Convertible Judge also.
