From whats being passed on to us in various readings -
6 Sticks known to exist
5 Autos known to exist

12 documented by PHS

What is the 12th car ? One that popped out of woodwork since those writings - or just a Block VIN. We only need 2 more to have them all covered.

Who knows about any other ones not listed

That's true Diego.
I'm just trying to keep some hope and optimism alive.
I still want to see a Black 4spd and a WT7 4spd arise.

It could be there were only 6 Sticks and 4 Autos built, and all accounted.
Or just the 12 that have been claimed to have been PHS'd.
My side bet is on 17 total with 11 and 6 - but its a small wager.

I will bet 20 bucks against more Automatics being built than Sticks tho.

It wasn't really very cool that the Red/Sandal/White 4spd didn't have a finished product picture. I felt bad that those really really tired "before and during" shots were its only representation on this thread.

So i found some finished pics of it.

If anyone has a couple or few better pics of the Green/Green/White 4spd -
i'd appreciate having some better ones for my files. thankyou

Was this car at the old downtown Winston Salem warehouse that Terry worked out of?

I believe the cars in the double stacked Judges picture did belong to Ray DeCrescenzo. I did see the pair for sale a while back but dont know if they were sold. They are both RAIV cars and so is the Orbit Orange car. Jim

Red face 70 raiv judge convertibles

I saw a list of known cars a few years ago with there vins.. The barn find from chicago was on it as that car has been known for some time, just not for sale. 6 4-speeds and 12 autos. List was compiled from 20 years of research by the owner of one of the 4 speeds. Not saying there wasn't more built, just saying that number confirmed known with vins is 18.

That blows my mind.
I don't doubt you saw a list -
but for whatever reasons , i have to question its authenticity/accuracy overall.
1000 questions i won't even try to ask.

But want to ask if there is any chance you could re-contact that person and get them to supply you a copy to submit to Jim Mattison ?
That would be 6 more than he has documented, so he should appreciate the data.
And he could confirm if they are all IV JVerts and that 6 Stick and 12 Auto is the benchmark. I'll pay up on my $20 bet too, if that list deal can be arranged.

Probably asking a lot - but if you don't ask - you never know what could have been.

Thank you tremendously for making that post Henley.

Thanks Telly.
I'll hunt for pics/info on it - unless you can save the trouble. (hint)
So that makes 6 Sticks and 5 Autos, so far.

Then this one makes 6 Autos.
Dan M. White/Black/Black Automatic (color has been changed)

Amazing how much CRS and Early Alzh is amongst us (not you - us) lol
There was just a thread about Dan getting the car earlier this year.
About same time you hauled the Pepper car. Both cars in same thread.

Henley, is it possible you were working from Uncle J's list.
Or is there potentially another list from another source ?

http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...98#post4795198

Either way - its all good.
We just need to pool as much data as can be obtained and verify as much as possible.
May never get a full set-in-stone figure, but we need a tighter grip than what is cuurently being instituted up to this point.
And keep the tighter grip in check.

....
I owe an apology to whomever owned/owns/restored the Green-Green-White 4spd IV JVert.

In some searches, i found the old post and pictures where i told the owner that "whoever told them it was a car - was lying" . (in jest of course)

http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...ht=lied&page=1

That car was the Red-Sandle-White 4spd , and the poster was Mahoney - who at that time was using the screen name RAIVME. I got confused in it all.

My Sincere Apology
The Green/Green/White car was not done that way.

Still hoping for more / better pics of the Grn Grn Wht one.
