Phil made a post a few years back about it being code #7 Gold. He was unsure how that was going to look with OO as a finished product, and was asking if anyone had any pics of another one similar. It had a tan or discolored white top when he bought it. |

I think Wade was able to find the correct Gold color from SMS, but there was concern of it being to old/dry and not taking well to the stitching process. He had a new run of the top material/color done just for this car. I think he has enough material now to do something like 50 tops.

No wonder Phil sold the car halfway in - the top sounds pretty expensive !
That is absolute unwaivering dedication to a project. The World Alliance of OrbitO Army should all be kneeling before their shrine. |

Sorry, a guy can only take so much "PUFFERY" Puffery as a legal term refers to promotional statements and claims that express subjective rather than objective views, which no "reasonable person" would take literally.[1] Puffery serves to "puff up" an exaggerated image of what is being described and is especially featured in testimonials |

Black Auto IV Judge Vert from Wichita in 2010
Owner was Vern (can't remember his last name). Restorer was Gary Riley from Level One Restoration in Colorado.
I think Gary, the owner, and Darryl were comparing NOS and repop stripes in this picture...

Why all the fuss about the black ragtop when my old Limelight Green car is sitting right next to it? Tim and Level One did an outstanding job on it! Purty good for an old car I found down in Denton... not TX

Yes I owned that Judge for almost 10 years. It's now owned by another PY member in the Denver CO area. I drug it up to WI when I relocated there and the current owner took it from there and made it really nice. I got it from Bingham Auto, down the road from Richard's, on Hwy 49. That car was my daily driver from 1995-1997! Bought new in Belle Vernon PA (Jim Mino's area) and traded for a 4wd truck at Bingham's!
And yes it was at the Gulf station on S Main next to my Matador Red 69 Hardtop quite regularly.

That is F'n awesome !
Binghams still has the Mustang up on the big pole - its ready for another resto. Scrap metal recycle center now. Was closed/idle for quite a while. Ran into Joe a few months back. Terry has his own shop lil further up the road - on other side of Hwy 49. Not seen Franky in a long time. Richards is basically unchanged - still for sale afaik. Rarely open. Still drags in cars. Massive crush operation some years ago - right BEFORE metal started getting high. Will mention the Lime Judge next time i see one of those guys. |

Was going to chime in about the silver auto. I've seen the car in person and inspected it with "a fine tooth comb" for a PY member and prospective buyer about five years ago when it was listed for $400K. It was at the Kissimmee Mecum auction about three years ago for a lower price, but I don't believe that it sold. If anyone would like additional details, PM me. I'm not sure if the owner at the time still has the car, but I do have his number somewhere, and had spoken with him about two years ago when I ran into him at a Pontiac car show.

Anyone have pics and/or info data about the OO Auto IV JVert ?
This OO Auto IV Jvert was a zone rep car and then delivered to its first owner in Milwaukee, WI. It ended up in Barrington, IL. and is currently restored to a high level. It resides in a high end collection. Ironically, the Atoll blue/blue auto was also sold in the Milwaukee area and purchased in the rough by John Allen in 1980 or so. He was the publisher of the Goat Finder back in the day. That car ended up in numerous collector's hands and was restored. I actually connected a previous owner of that car up with the original owner a few years ago. Quote:
Both of these Automatic cars are very well optioned. Especially, the OO car. It even has the very rare headlamp delay (twilight) option. Last edited by Uncle Judge; 12-09-2012 at 11:04 AM. |
