Nice looking Judge Convertible!

The color seems a little off, but could be the pics or my monitor.

Not many Burgundy Judges.
You need a matching convertible?

Cool car,,,,looks like there could be alot of bad things hiding under that paint but deserves a complete resto. At 85000 though,,,unless you can you can the work yourself,,the amount youd have in that car after a complete resto??? How much would that car be worth after it was done? 125-150000?

If I had the space. I live in a townhouse only space for one. I wonder how many 70 burgundy judge convertibles were made?

Colour does look a bit off for 70 burgundy / Washington Redskins shade but still a great car..

Some pictures from the add are attached.

Somewhere in the listing it states it had an off-color repaint , but doesn't say why they chose to do that color.

Nothing mentioned to document original engine.
Should be worth at least around 150 after full resto if matching #'s

Its been hit on the driver quarter pretty good lick.
Pass quarter probably got wrinkled with it - plastic cracking out of it.
Marginal repair , probably when it got the ensuing marginal paint job.

Think it went through a pretty good period of idle neglect, then a semi face lift.
Then some more idle time outdoors too.
Look at the dirt/debris stains on the top around well trim.

Have PHS on at least 1 other 70 Burgandy Jvert
ServiceMan/Export Order
Ram3 4spd 3.90
Burg/Red Int/Black Top

Think someone up around The Boss owns this PHS example.

seems to me that it was an overseas export also.

Just curious, how do you have an 01D date on the data plate and a customer delivery date of 12-12-69?

11D is more likely with rivet covering a 1? Build sheet looks like 11-24

Nose was also "smashed in" on the car. Note the paint on nose doesn't match body paint.

$80k would seem to be all the money.

Frame also seems to have rust through on the rails back by the mufflers (just in front of the jack points on the lift - both sides)

I assume you guys saw the floors are rotted through also.

Seems 82.5k was enough to sell. It's gone....

This is the car I purchased from Gary 14 years ago, I am still in the process of restoring it. I have a demanding work schedule so it is slow going. The nice thing about doing bits at a time is I never get tired of it, I have been doing body work for 30 years and I can say it is being done right with a lot of attention to the little details. The car is an all numbers matching 4 speed car, 390 rear, burgundy with a black top and interior. It is mostly original sheetmetal with minor patching around the rear wheel openings and front fenders, had to replace trunk lid and hood. The car still has its original water pump, radiator, alternator and spiral shocks, all have been restored. I found the correct date coded carb. Still looking for a correct starter but that might not happen. Interior is done using correct comfortweave not the repo. stuff. Dash and gauges are done, found nice original dash pad free of cracks. Currently car is on rotisserie. I am in the process of restoring the frame. I would say in 2 years it should be done but 2 years from now I will probably again say in 2 years it will be done, thats how its been going.
