Someone should pay for the GM of Canada docs to see if a 455 was the original engine.

why would the trim tag be a problem..you can see OO paint and it has the PHS...it isnt a Yenko or a Z28..whats the thought on the trim tag being an issue?

The trim tag might have had the L75 option on it.

Given that some options are actually called out on an Oshawa trim tag that is highly possible. As an Oshawa-built car, GM of Canada docs are available for it; my bet would be Ram Air III, M21, 3.90s.

You can see M40 on the pictured tag if you enlarge it.

The PHS Invoice won't reveal a difference between a Ram3 Auto and 455 Auto.
The GM of Canada document -- will

Oshawa Trim Tag wouldn't reveal it [455 - L75]

I thought because it used a different frame, Fisher Body may have called it out. But, I guess they didn't have to make any mods to the body, so there was no need.

That's just a sample Oshawa trim tag pic; it has no connection to the car being discussed. And, sorry, I just looked at the PHS and see it was an automatic. So that nulls my 4-speed speculation, I was just looking at the pedal and shifter in the interior. D'OH.

Judge trim tag samples that could be used to get a correct appearing trim tag reproduced .
