Yeah, Had it at Jeff Potokar's Fall Gathering this year. I never go to the Rosemont since Deer Season in Wisconsin takes precedence.

I need to start a thread instead of taking over one. Will try and find the time in the coming days before the Holidays. Cheers

Bucket seat, column shift has to be seldom seen also. I kinda like the retro side pipes. I never see those on A bodies.

Good eye Greg!
The car was in the processes of being taken apart by second owner when stored 1976. The hideaways are in the trunk and the enduro (bumper) nose and other parts stored. He had a nice collection of items to restore the car which are being held tight.
I actually drove the car about five miles as is to check the drive line. Its was the first time the car was driven in 42 years and completely awesome. My brother-in-law and I where enjoying every second of that ride.

The car is going to be reassembled and shown as is next year at some local venues. I might bring her to some national shows if work and family allow.?
Cheers

Man, leave those decals, pipes and all, it is just too cool. Do you have a pic of the decal below the fender emblem?

Can one get a green top now days? I tried to find one for my 69 vert a couple of years ago and no luck. Ended up going with a black fabric top....much nicer than a vinyl imo.

Was your judge a special order car? Unusual being column shift , wheel opening mouldings and trunk trim package.
I assume that is original paint?

All that stuff is standard on 69s. I think you only got shifter on floor if you ordered the console. WW moldings and trunk trim was standard on all 69s.

Yeah, I think I'd put the bumper back on and drive it. I like the looks. That's an old American flag shield sticker there under the fender emblems isn't it?

ok thought the first pattern cars were strippers with no WW and trunk mouldings. Assumed one had to special order the trim on the later production different color judges.
