Default Doug Herbert Solid Roller Lifters

I have been running these for years with no problems and they are 100% made in the USA. Is anyone else running them? Anyone had any failures?

I had a single pair in my old 455 for over a decade beating the snot out of it.
I bought a set of used Comp lifters that one pair had a crack.
So I bought a pair from Butler. Even had a slightly different length pushrod in that hole that was .083 and the rest were .118" wall.
Engine never knew the difference.

I run them and have not had problems. I think they are currently made by Morel both and Howard’s and Bullet sell the same lifter with a different name on it. If you go back enough years I think I recall Crane may have made lifters for Herbert.
