Default Moonlight Garage shout out

Stopped by moonlight garage on Long Island yesterday to talk about some work but also have Richie H take a look at my set up as I thought there was more opportunity in performance that eluded me. Besides the fun of seeing muscle cars everywhere, it was great watching Richie diagnosis and resolve a few issues. A true master.

A Chevy distributor hold down was quickly identified and a loose distributor. A completely warn distributor cap and arcing rotor too. All led to car being over-timed. He dropped in a new cap, set the timing lower to accommodate the kre heads and we went back out for a ride. Much smoother, better throttle response, and power. So much so that when I got up into my power band and nailed it, richie’s glasses flew off his head into back seat. I was happy. He was happy. Awesome.

Thanks to Richie and Tom and green monster for the recommendation. Great Saturday and would certainly recommend for those in metro ny area.

Moonlight garage is an asset to the muscle car community. Richie is a blessing to the Pontiac community.

Neat to hear a 2nd set of eyes found the problem. Walking Dizzy was a long-time trouble for me.
