2023 Car Calendar
Saturday morning I'm off to West Chester, PA for a photo shoot with John DeBella for WMGK 102.9's yearly car calendar. I got the news this past Monday I was picked to be one of the 12.

Thanks guys. This is my 3rd try and I hope it works out.
As for DeBella, I hear he can be a Royal PITA. If he is, I'll leave, and they can have a blank month. LOL But I have an ace up my sleeve. I asked him in the last email if he'd ever talked to Mark Farner during his radio show. Yes, Farner of GFR fame. No answer as of now. You know, come to think of it, I've never seen any WMGK calendars anywhere for sale.

The photo shoot went great. When the printer finishes them, all 12 of us will get 12 calendars sent to us. This was at huge place that could be called a museum but isn't. The guy that owns where we went has over 130 cars of his own. I got there around 9am and another guy was also there but wasn't a part of the photo shoot. The owner took us on one hell of a tour thru the place. I'll have to get some of the photos I took off my phone and post them here. But that might take a couple of days to go thru them all and sort them out. Hang in there.
I found that DeBella is one hell of a down to earth guy. My age too. I did ask if he could put mine up for March as it's my birthday that month and the GTO was built in Baltimore the 4th week of March. So, we'll see what happens. This will be the only time any of us 12 will be on a WMGK calendar. I gave warning tho that next year I just want to be there to see the next 12. It was a lot of fun.... just like a mini car show.

Well, bad news. I lost all of my photos on my cell phone, and T-Mobile said they can't be recovered.
 When I get the calendars I'm supposed to get, then I'll get photos and posted them here. Might be 3 to 4 weeks tho.

Now the good news. WMGK sent me my photos from the photo shoot in an email this morning.
    I've no idea what photo of the top 3 will be used. But I do know the last one won't. LOL

I emailed John back asking IF I could buy 12 more calendars from them. No answer yet.
