Default Thank You, all Veterans!!!

You all are the reason we breathe free, and continue to do so!!!

This day should be celebrated like Christmas and Thanksgiving!!! The country should stop its business. Families stay home and reflect on what the day truly means!!!

I have no difficulty remembering this day, it's also birthday!!! I regret not serving. Wasting time going to college, that gained me little in my preparation for my life ahead.

Thank You All, Again!!!

Veterans Day

1918 – World War I ends at 11 AM with the signing of the Treaty of Versailles. President Wilson proclaims November 11 a national holiday as Armistice Day in 1919.
The holiday was renamed Veteran’s Day after WWII.
In 1954, President Eisenhower made the first Veterans Day proclamation.

Heard a great stat this morn from several sources. Around 1% of our nation served in the military. So we one-percenters should be appreciated by the 99% who sleep safe at night.

I was grateful for my time in the Army, great melting pot of people from different states. Combat veterans in my opinion should have every single resource available to them like quality health care and counseling for the rest of their lifetimes no matter the cost.
