Default 77 GP automatic heater control cable

Does anyone know if there are any companies that are selling cables for the heater control to the blend air door? It is the Automatic heater control system with AC. Mine seems to be bent near the control end, not allowing the blend air door to move all the way. So in its current state the car is very hot all the time! I will try and straighten the cable I have but in case I do brake it trying to straighten it I would like to know I can get another one!

So by that description I buy a cable and cut it to length? I keep the outer casing and make eyes at the end of the cable to attach to the blend air door and controller?

Looked group 9.787 found part number #6258364 for all 1976 -1981 listed as cable kit, Bowden wire repair (incl) 13 ft. HSG, 60 FT wire and clamps used with pliers? But this part number was discontinued. The parts book listed part numbers for all models under group #9.787 but does not show the length of those cables to see if they would work.

Great info. Thanks for looking into this for me. I will just bite the bullet and take it apart and see I I can repair the cable I have.
