Many years ago I took the power booster off my 69 GTO and I believe I put a MC on it that was for Disc brakes without power. Where can I find one ?
Won't make Norwalk otherwise. OGR

Replacement boosters have 2 rods with them. You should be all set for almost any 69 GM car.
Ames has em.

I guess my question wasn't clear ? I need a master cylinder for disc brakes, but no power brakes.

It's been little over 20 years, but the last oem master/manual disc setup I put together for a '68-72 GTO I used a rebuilt manual disc master for a '68 Chevelle manual disc car. I'd bet not something one can order any more at local O'Reillys.

Maybe this will help. You need a 1" bore master for manual disc brakes.

I have an original from a '71 Formula. I am sure it would need to be checked out, gone through though.
Manual disc brake, the tall style Master Cylinder.

I believe the MBM MC309 will work for you.
https://mbmbrakes.com/mc309-gm-1967-...ster-cylinder/ MBM description: GM 1967-1977 Cast Iron with Bleeders 1-1/8" Bore; Deep Hole 9/16" & 1/2" Ports on Left Side with Bleeder Valves Licensed GM Restoration Part Exact Copy of Original w/ casting number 5468309 There are a few on line vendors. Be aware that there will not be a residual valve for the rear drums in this MC. They do recommend the use of an inline residual valve but it is not absolutely necessary and say to use one at your discretion. I am not sure of the 69 models but according to the 68 service manual all models used a 1-1/8" MC with Disc Brakes Also, Tuff Stuff Performance has a selection of MCs 1" or 1-1/8" bores with deep or shallow piston holes. https://www.tuffstuffperformance.com...cylinders.html Dave

Found a MC at auto zone, NM1489. Doesn't look original but installed it does have a firm brake pedal.
Off to Norwalk !

Great that you found one local. Just for my future reference, did this MC have the residual valve in the rear port? Thanks, Dave
