Bulges on the Endura bumper
My '71 has some bulges in the horizontal section of the endura bumper; just below the headlights.
These are not the result of an accident or bumper jack; just looks like it swelled up over time? Can these be leveled? |

well, without some pictures, to comment, it's most likely it's being pushed up by rust bubbles in the metal structure below. I had a 69 endura like that. nothing you can really do except cut the endura and peel it off, deal with the rust and repair the section with the 3M stuff where you cut it and hope it doesn't come back before you're gone.

I never thought it could be rust under there, pushing it out, but that makes sense. Guess I'd better pull the bumper and find out. |
