1968 400 Std bore 2bbl "Regular Fuel" Engine
I sold the 68 Catalina that this engine came out of, I pulled it out 4 years ago at 120K miles and it has been in dry storage ever since.
I had the car since 1993 and bought from original owner, so I'm 99% sure its standard bore. Ran well when pulled but oil was leaking from every gasket! I used the air cleaner, water pump, and one exhaust manifold for the freshened engine I put in the car, so that's not available, but otherwise the engine is complete. $800. If you are a serious buyer, we can pull a head together and measure the bore. I'm located in Livonia, MI. thank you, |

I have not cleaned and looked for the stamped code on the front of the block, but it came from a 1968 full-size car with an automatic. If this, or the casting date code is critical for your purchase, let me know and I will go get greasy.
