It arrived home today. What you guys honestly think . I had a stock fuel pump restored. The work looks good. Fred did good job I think. It has a small ding on one side not sure if I should be concerned. Advise from experts please. My car was assembled in March and fuel pump date codes March. Not sure if that's right but hope it works will be looking for 1 more core to have restored and shelved.

I don't know about the ding and if that will have any effect on function or durability, but otherwise that thing is beautiful. Very nice.

Depending on what the consensus is here, I'd talk to the builder about the ding, I guess.

Thank you for advise Im very happy with my slow progress. It will be bolted but not yet taking engine out this fall or winter and having it gone throu again. Its got zero miles on rebuilt engine but sat for about 30 years.I did talk to Fred and he told me that the dent it will not effect the performance of the car once installed. I thank you for input.

I did just that and he told me not to worry about it that the tall can fills with gas and diaphram is located in the upper housing in the pump. Thank you for advise
